Aerial Work Platform Initial

Catalog description

An introduction to provide the trainees with the knowledge of current regulations, common type of aerial work platforms and understand the need to conduct pre-shift inspections. Learn techniques for safe operation and maneuvering. Teach trainees to work safely on and around self- propelled aerial work platforms, such as scissor-lifts and boom lifts. 9 hours lecture, 27 hours laboratory. Enrollment Limitation: Admission to this course is limited to apprentices registered with the state of California Department of Apprenticeship Standards. Students must first be accepted into a registered LiUNA! Northern California District Council of Laborers apprenticeship.
