An introduction to instruct trainees in the types of hazards and situations that can be encountered on the job site. trainees will learn protective measures, proper use of equipment and learn safety and health issues, in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120, 132, 143, 146, and 1200. 36 hours lecture, 27 hours laboratory. Enrollment Limitation: Admission to this course is limited to apprentices registered with the state of California Department of Apprenticeship Standards. Students must first be accepted into a registered LiUNA! Northern California District Council of Laborers apprenticeship.
