Catalog description

An introduction to provide the trainees with basic overview of the general practices of construction work, including safety, tools, techniques, terms, safe work habits and knowledge of the industry. In accordance with the CAL-OSHA CCR Title 8 and OSHA CFR 1926 Construction Standards that are applicable to courses being covered. 54 hours lecture, 81 hours laboratory. Enrollment Limitation: Admission to this course is limited to apprentices registered with the state of California Department of Apprenticeship Standards.
