Catalog description
Students learn to set up equipment and perform cutting and gouging operations utilizing the oxy fuel, air carbon arc, and plasma arc cutting processes. This course also aligns the principles of blueprint reading with safe metal cutting practices as well as general industrial safety according to the American Welding Society Standards. Students in this course are also able to earn the OSHA-10 certification.
