Catalog description

Students examine the history, mission, values, and activities of social work practice. Students also investigate how social workers interact with a diverse client population and contribute to solving social problems. Lastly, students develop awareness of the knowledge and value base of the social work profession. Prerequisite: Completion of ENGL 1010 or equivalent placement score.
