Intro to Soil Science

Catalog description

Students are introduced to soil science including the formation of soils, soil ecology, the biological properties of the soil affecting plant growth, the chemical and physical properties of soil affecting nutrient storage and availability, and the different compositions of fertilizers and their interactions with soils and plants. Prerequisite: Completion of ENGL 0810 and MATH 0900, or equivalent placement test scores.
