Respiratory Therapy III

Catalog description

This course builds on the concepts that students learned in Respiratory Therapy I and II. In this course, students will learn additional critical care concepts of respiratory therapy including advanced ventilation modalities, ventilator graphics, troubleshooting the patient-ventilation system, ventilator adjustments to achieve optimal ventilation and oxygenation and non-conventional modes of mechanical ventilation. The student pays an additional course fee. This course is offered in the fall semester.
