Respiratory Therapy I

Catalog description

Students will learn the theory of equipment, procedures, and related concepts for patients requiring general acute cardiopulmonary care. In addition, students will gain an in-depth understanding of medical gas administration, humidity and aerosol therapy, safety systems, and patient assessment. Students will develop basic respiratory care skills necessary to enter the hospital environment.
