Clinical Education III

Catalog description

This course is a continuation of RDTK 1713 and is designed to provide radiography students with hands-on, supervised clinical experience in a healthcare setting. Under the guidance of experienced registered radiographers, students apply classroom and laboratory knowledge to advance essential skills in patient care, radiation safety, radiographic positioning, and image production and evaluation appropriate to a Fall II radiography student. Emphasis is placed on professional practice such as effective communication, ethical practice, and critical thinking.
