PTA Clinical Practicum I

Catalog description

This course provides students with selected experiences to provide practical clinical experience under the direct supervision of a physical therapist/physical therapist assistant and instruction of LCCC's clinical coordinator. The clinical experience gives students the opportunity to correlate didactic course work with clinical skills. Students are required to complete a minimum of 280-hour clinical rotation at an affiliate site that provides physical therapy services. Prerequisite: Completion of PTAT 1720.
