Practicum in Teaching

Catalog description

In this capstone course, students explore educational topics such as the classroom environment, learning differences, and pedagogy. In addition, students spend 60 hours in a school setting to observe, assist in the classroom, and teach a formal lesson under the supervision of a classroom teacher. Note: Students may be required to pass a criminal background check in this course.
