Catalog description

Students explore career options within the teaching profession through observations, discussions, and research at the secondary school level. Students cultivate an awareness of diversity in public schools and become familiar with public school administration and financing. Students examine the historical and philosophical foundations of the American education system. Note: Students must successfully pass a criminal background check in this program. Prerequisite: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 1010.
