Catalog description

This course is the continuation of Speakers of Spanish 2330 and is designed for students who have been exposed to the Spanish language at High School and have little or basic knowledge of the Spanish language. This class is an intensive Spanish review with an emphasis on interpretation and expression of ideas through the review of grammar, reading, writing, and culture. The course enhances creative thinking and communicative skills by engaging in the expression of ideas through academic discourse and the use of formal vocabulary. The course highlights the study of intercultural elements and incentive social responsibility and focuses on the Hispanic communities in the United States.
