Catalog description

This course explores and analyzes the geography, history, government, cultural arts, economic resources, and psychology of the Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America. Students will be exposed to culture and popular culture discourses, films, documentaries, photographs, and museum collections, and they will develop written reports, oral presentations, and academic essays. Prerequisite(s): SPAN 2311 or SPAN 2312
