This course examines how concepts of gender have been defined, understood, and expressed in different societies. Students will analyze theoretical perspectives on identity, social norms, and institutions, and explore how these frameworks influence documented social patterns and outcomes. The course addresses gender and race as academic subjects within sociology. All materials are presented for scholarly analysis only.
