This course examines how social categories such as race and ethnicity have been defined and understood in different societies, and how these definitions have influenced access to resources and opportunities. Students will analyze major theoretical perspectives on prejudice, discrimination, and intergroup relations. All materials are presented for scholarly analysis only.
