Catalog description

This course examines human resource management principles and practices within sport organizations. Emphasis is placed on strategic staffing, employee development, performance evaluation, labor relations, diversity and inclusion, legal compliance, and ethical decision-making in sport contexts. Students analyze real-world sport industry cases and apply human resource management strategies to professional, collegiate, and recreational sport settings. This course is intended for upper-division students preparing for leadership and administrative roles in the sport industry.
