Catalog description

This course introduces students to how businesses operate. The best way to learn how businesses operate is to start one. Entrepreneurs must know about every aspect of the business including marketing, finance, operations, human resources, management, and sales. Students will learn the fundamentals of business operations as well as how to start and grow a new venture and how those skills map onto existing businesses. The course balances innovation-oriented ventures with traditional business models, helping students see how entrepreneurial thinking applies across industries. This class is open to all majors. Students do not need a background in business to succeed in this class. No prerequisites are required.
