Advanced Topics in Mechanical Engineering is a graduate-level course designed to cultivate a deeper understanding of industrial applications across diverse engineering sectors. Building upon foundational knowledge, this course challenges students to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize complex engineering problems encountered in real-world settings. Through immersive experiences such as field trips, expert-led seminars, and/or industry-recognized certifications, students will examine emerging technologies and interdisciplinary solutions relevant to mechanical engineering careers in sectors such as, but not limited to, semiconductors, automotive, energy, aerospace, and AI-driven systems.
