This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of public health research, equipping them with the skills necessary to design, conduct, and analyze research studies addressing public health challenges. Students will explore various research methodologies, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed-method, and participatory approaches while gaining hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Emphasis is placed on ethical research practices, study design, sampling techniques, and data management to ensure rigorous and impactful research. Through real-world case studies and applied exercises, students will develop the ability to critically evaluate public health research and effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences.
