Catalog description

A critical analysis of contemporary issues in the understanding, prevention, and control of white-collar crime within domestic and global contexts. The course examines the development of economic and political crimes, emphasizing the application of macro and micro theoretical perspectives to evaluate impacts on social and political institutions. Topics include regulatory oversight, criminal sanctions, and public policy. May be repeated for credit when the area of study varies.
