Practicum in Policing

Catalog description

This practicum provides students with supervised field experience in a policing, law enforcement, or public safety agency. Students observe daily operations, participate in approved tasks, and reflect on how academic concepts apply to real-world policing. Emphasis is placed on professional conduct, communication, ethical decision making, community engagement, and understanding the functional structure of law enforcement organizations.
