The course introduces foundational principles and practices of clinical chemistry analysis, covering specimen collection, processing, testing, and statistical analysis. Students will develop a foundation in correlating laboratory results with specific disease states. The course also introduces quality control procedures, the basic metabolic panel, and an overview of urinalysis.
