Lighting and Sound for the Theatre

This course introduces actors and non-actors to the theory and practice of electricity, light, and sound as they apply to theatrical performances. Topics include light and sound design, lighting instruments, color filters, control equipment, sound reinforcement, and microphones. Instruction includes lectures, demonstrations, student projects, and hands-on experiences.
