Lakeland Civic Band (TAG)

Catalog description

This course provides students with the experience of participating in a community-service concert band performance group sponsored by Lakeland. The course places emphasis on concert band literature from various historical periods and in the musical development of the individual. At least two years of high school-level concert band performance are recommended prior to joining the band, and placement in the ensemble will be determined by audition during or before the first rehearsal as determined by the director. Students may take this course up to four times for credit.
