CA Real Estate Principles

Catalog description
This is a fundamental real estate course covering the basic laws and principles of California real estate. The course provides the understanding, background, and terminology necessary for advanced study in specialized courses. Enrollment in this course is one of three required by the California Department of Real Estate prior to being licensed by the State of California as a real estate salesperson. ADVISORY: One of the additional two courses required by the Department of Real Estate State is Real Estate Practice (RES 155). It is recommended students complete either Real Estate Finance (RES 154) or Legal Aspects of Real Estate (RES 152) as the elective course. NOTE: Students taking online courses must log in during the first week of the course or make special arrangements with the instructor to avoid being dropped.
