Beginning Rock Ensemble (nc)

Catalog description

This non-credit course gives beginning level students the opportunity to learn ensemble performance skills while exploring various musical styles such as pop, rock, funk, and hip hop. Singers, guitarists, bassists, keyboard players, drummers, and other instrumentalists are encouraged to participate. Skills and exercises in this course focus on lifelong education to promote health and well-being. Please choose a song (3-4 minutes in length) and bring a CD, lyrics, and chord chart (not tablature) to the first class. A final concert will be given. REG: Walk-in registration only.
