Independent Living Skills

Catalog description

This course is designed for students who have been identified as developmentally disabled. Students will be introduced to skills necessary for living independently. The students will learn skills needed to make decisions, budget, acquire housing, prepare for a vocation, access community resources, plan for proper nutrition, become educated consumers, and utilize appropriate social skills, which are requisite to vocational courses. REG: Walk-in registration only.
