Internship - Occupational Work Experience is a student-earned worksite placement for on-the-job experience in positions directly related to their academic and career goals. An internship may be exploratory. Internship students must complete an application and be interviewed/selected by the instructor prior to the orientation. Student interns must have a good academic record and should have completed some of the courses required in their major. Internship opportunities are posted online at ltcc.edu. Here are the steps to get started: First, complete an application available online at ltcc.edu or at Student Services office. Next, make an appointment to interview with instructor by calling ext. 294. Attend mandatory orientation meeting (only after interviews and a confirmed internship). COREQUISITE: Students must be available to volunteer 4 to 24 hours per week (if paid, hours per week increase as outlined in the work experience program) for an approved business and must have an application on file each quarter enrolled. REG: Walk-in registration only.
