An introduction to the Chicana/o experience emphasizing their relationship to the ethnic and racial relations, culture, history, and politics of the U.S. This course will emphasize interdisciplinary Ethnic Studies methodologies and critical race theory to analyze the impact of Hispanics on American systems and institutions. ADVISORY: ENGLC 1000 with a grade of "C" or better or equivalent.
