Intro Digital Media Arts

Catalog description

This introductory course surveys the merging of technology, global communication, and creative expression. Students will cover the fundamentals of digital art creation with current versions of graphics, audio, and video creation software. Students will learn the basic principles of art making (composition, color, form) to express their original ideas to the broader world through various global media processes. NOTE: Students taking online courses must log in during the first week of the course or make special arrangements with the instructor to avoid being dropped.Some or all hours may be TBA and focus on achieving the stated student learning outcomes.
