Catalog description
This course provides an examination and analysis of criminal proceedings from pre-arrest through trial and appeal, utilizing constitutional, statutory, and case law. Additional topics include search and seizure pursuant to the Fourth Amendment, pre-trial identification and interrogation procedures, constitutional protectins during trial, and the post-conviction process. NOTE: Students taking online courses must log in during the first week of the course or make special arrangements with the instructor to avoid being dropped.
