Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the legal system, the difference between civil and criminal law, the sources of law, and the court system. The course focus will be classifying, defining, and identifying crimes. This course also explores defenses to crimes, and parties to crimes. NOTE: Students taking online courses must log in during the first week of the course or make special arrangements with the instructor to avoid being dropped.
