Financial Accounting I

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the study of accounting as the basis of an information system with emphasis on concepts and assumptions underlying data accumulation for financial reports. Topics will include the general accounting cycle, financial reporting and analysis, merchandising operations and the operating cycle, inventories, internal controls, and ethics. NOTE: Students taking online courses must log in during the first week of the course or make special arrangements with the instructor to avoid being dropped.
