Catalog description

This course is a comprehensive introduction to the concepts and techniques of relief printmaking, which includes rubber, linoleum, and woodblock printing. Emphasis will be on technical experimentation and artistic visual expression. Students will be introduced to the history and theory of relief printing through hands-on experimentation and the examination of artworks of historical and contemporary printmaking.
