Catalog description

Physical, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual aspects of aging are examined within the context of the family and society. Theoretical concepts of aging will be examined using the nursing process. Unique health care needs of the older adult will also be presented, as well as an introduction to how baccalaureate nurses approach and manage those needs. Ethical/legal issues related to the nursing care of the older adults are analyzed.
