Introduction to Project Management ((3 Credits ))

Catalog description

An introduction to project management theory and practice, outlined by the Project Management Institute's Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), in preparation for the Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certifications. The course presents an overview of concepts in project management and core processes such as project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring and controlling, and project closeout. Prerequisite: Admission to the BAS in Leadership Program.
