Family Medicine Rotation

Catalog description

The SPM Family Medicine Rotation is a 4-week rotation designed to enable students to establish competencies in the comprehensive approach to the practice of Medicine by focusing on lasting and caring relationships with patients and their families. Students will learn to integrate the biological, clinical, and behavioral sciences to provide continuing and comprehensive health care that includes all age groups, each organ system, and every disease entity. A strong focus will be placed on relating the holistic approach to the patients’ care and a connection to Podiatric Medicine and the overlap in practices.
