Catalog description
These synchronous small group-based courses divide students into groups of 8-12 students per group to discuss clinically based case studies that complement the courses in the MMS program. Pathophysiology introduces clinical medicine and the disease process through the integration of the basic sciences. Students will apply their knowledge of normal structure and function of anatomical, physiological, biochemical, etc. systems toward the processes that may lead to the development of disease.
