Psychology of Women

Catalog description

This course provides an overview of psychological theory and research related to the study of women, including research on gender, gender socialization, and sex differences. It will evaluate traditional views and feminist perspectives. Students will learn how gender and sexism interact with ethnicity, class, and age across the lifespan to influence women's lives and understandings. (Formerly PSY 255.) Pre-requisites: PSY 155
