Introduction to Black Studies aims to teach students about the development and evolution of the field of Black Studies. In this course we will examine how Black Studies, as an academic field, evolved from a long and rich tradition of Black scholarship and activism, while also considering the historical contexts from which it stemmed and continues to evolve.
