Principles of Ecology

Catalog description

This course addresses the basic concepts of ecology and a broad introduction to overall biosphere functioning. Major topics include energy flows, nutrient cycles, environmental conditions and their importance, population and community dynamics, and the overall functioning and development of the major terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. BIL 403 is a corequisite for this course.
