Oxyfuel Welding/Cutting

Catalog description
The theory and practice of oxy-acetylene welding, braze welding and cutting. Safe and correct set up and handling of oxy-acetylene equipment will be covered. Butt Joints and Fillets will be brazed in the flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions on 1/16 inch and 1/8 inch mild steel material. Butt Joints and Fillets will be welded autogenously in the flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions on 1/16 inch and 1/8 inch mild steel material. Butt Joints and Fillets will be welded with filler rod in the flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions on 1/16 inch and 1/8 inch mild steel material. 3/8 inch and 1/4 inch mild steel will be oxygen cut. One hour lecture/discussion and two hours lab a week.
