Intro to Statistics Support

Catalog description

Course is designed for students planning to enroll in MAT 208, Introductory Statistics but need additional support to be successful (as determined by placement or student choice). Course material includes remedial/prerequisite skills for statistics, college success skills, technology skills, and extended time on statistics topics. Topics covered include percents, decimals, order of operations, linear functions, data and sampling techniques, probability, distributions and hypothesis testing. Concurrent enrollment in MAT 208 is required. Two hours lab a week. Not transferable
