Catalog description
A study of social, historical, and philosophical foundations that give perspective to current issues, policies, and ongoing changes in the field of education, including cultural diversity. Educational organization and structure, finance, and curriculum are discussed. Includes a minimum of 15 field observation hours. A district volunteer background check and TB test are required. Three hours lecture/discussion a week. Course accepted by select college - see advisor for more information.
