As all assignments are due electronically, students enrolled in this class will need access to the following equipment: - Computer (to write papers/discussions, use D2L, and submit assignments) - Camera/Recording Device (something that can record audio and video and will allow you to upload videos in an MP4, .MOV, .WMV, .FLV format). In addition to hardware requirements, there are IAI requirements for all of the speeches that must be met if a student is to receive credit and be eligible to pass this class for credit. - Speeches MUST be at least 5 minutes long. - Students MUST have an audience present for the speech they record and the student should show their audience on camera before giving each speech. There MUST be at least SIX people present, and those individuals in the audience MUST be over the age of 16. The audience MUST be informed that they will be recorded and consent to being shown on camera. - The speeches MUST take place in a "public" setting (workplace, community venue, etc.)
