Introduces the basics of hand tools, understanding drawings, manual machines, and layout. Focuses on interpretation of drawing information, description of basic symbols, and notation, and interpretation of basic GD&T feature control frames. Emphasizes teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving through hands-on experience and practical applications. Aligns with NIMS (National Institute of Metalworking Skills) standards.
