Catalog description

Introduces the theory and practice of organic chemistry with emphasis on the chemistry of functional groups. Emphasizes nomenclature, stereoisomerism, chemical bonding, reaction mechanisms, the characterization of hydrocarbons, alkyl halides and alcohols.
