Catalog description
Introduces the history of art chronologically, from the prehistoric period in Europe to the early Renaissance. Cultivates a meaningful recognition of different styles, concepts and concerns through an analysis of selected paintings, sculpture, architecture and other mediums. Emphasizes the thematic issues prevalent in various time periods and geographic/cultural areas.
