Catalog description
Focuses on the complex care of high-risk obstetric and pediatric patients. Emphasizes providing safe, quality, and ethically compliant evidence-based care for patients and families across the childbearing continuum and for pediatric patients experiencing health issues. A strong focus is placed on health promotion, prevention, and managing common conditions in these populations. Concepts and skills are applied practically in a supervised laboratory, high-fidelity simulation, and a pediatric observation experience. Arts & Sciences Elective Code: B
